Toronto cops are on the scene of a smash and get burglary at a cellular phone shop in Scarborough.
Officers were contacted us to the shop in the Kingston and McCowan roadways location at around 4:58 p.m.
Police state suspects smashed screen cases and took an amount of product before leaving in a dark coloured lorry. No suspect descriptions are presently readily available.
No injuries were reported.
The owner’s kid Saqlain Sarosh talked with CityNews, stating there were 2 consumers in the shop together with him and his dad at the time of the break-in.
“One guy held open the door, 3 guys entered and began breaking whatever, requiring cash from the register. I was able to hold my own with one of the individuals and not open the register,” shared Sarosh.
He stated they did have security doors, however bad timing permitted the suspects to get in.
“We have doors that need being opened by a remote to open. And it’s simply a bad coincidence that our consumer was leaving at the exact same time the burglars wound up concerning our shop.”
