Here’s what’s open and closed on the very first vacation of the year.

Banks, federal government services, and libraries will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17. Canada Post will be on a routine shipment schedule.

In Toronto, nearly all city tourist attractions will stay open consisting of the CN Tower, Toronto Zoo, Casa Loma, Ripley’s Aquarium, the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Riverdale Farm will be open, in addition to the Allan Gardens and Centennial Park conservatories.

Here’s what else is open and closed in Toronto:

TRANSIT

GO Transitwill run on a Saturday schedule.

The TTC will be on a vacation schedulewith the majority of paths and train service beginning at 6 a.m.

GROCERY AND ALCOHOL

LCBO and The Beer Store places will be closed on Monday. Wine cellar shops will stay open in Toronto.

Many supermarket will be closed on Family Day, choose shops will stay open. Consult your regional grocer for hours of operation.

Select Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall places are open on Family Day. Inspect your city for other pharmacy shop hours.
