Toronto authorities are examining after a hit-and-run accident sent out 2 pedestrians to a healthcare facility on Friday night.

According to authorities, a kid and an adult were struck by a car in the city’s Moss Park area, near Adelaide Street and Ontario Street right before 10:30 p.m.

Police state the chauffeur of the lorry ran away the scene. Both pedestrians were carried to a medical facility by means of an emergency situation run.

Officers state their injuries are non-life-threatening.
