A teen is dealing with charges after a run-in resulted in a guy being stabbed and seriously hurt with his six-year-old child viewing it unfold in the rear seats of a car, cops in Niagara Falls stated.
Officers were informed of a stabbing occurrence on New Year’s Eve at around 8:30 p.m. in the Victoria Avenue and Centre Street location.
It’s declared that the male suspect was driving a car with the victim and his 6-year-old child in the rear seats. A spoken argument in between the suspect and victim led to a physical fight, resulting in the male being stabbed.
Authorities situated the victim, a 38-year-old male, experiencing major injuries. He was carried to an out-of-town health center, where he stays in important condition.
Authorities kept in mind that the girl left the car after seeing her dad being stabbed, with the suspect then speeding off and getting away the scene. The six-year-old was not physically damaged.
On Wednesday, cops situated and jailed a 17-year-old male youth from Hamilton. He was charged with worsened attack and 2 counts of breach of recognizance. The youth made a virtual court look on Thursday. He was not recognized by methods of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
